The management team of rapper Folarin Falana aka Falz have finally reacted to the demand by the Muslims Rights Concern (MURIC) group for the singer to take down his ”This if Nigeria” music video within 7-days or face legal action.
Recall that the Muslim group in a statement released on Tuesday May 5th said Falz should apologise to Muslims for using girls dressed in Hijab in the video or face legal action within the next 7 days.
The group said the dancers in the video in no way depict the situation of the Chibok girl and that the video is “thoughtless, insensitive and highly provocative,”
Responding, Falz’s management in a statement released said they will not be taking down the video.
”We have nothing to say. We are not withdrawing the video neither are we commenting on their claims. If they (MURIC) have any grievance they can head to court and we will meet them”, the statement read
