Falz Speaks On Alleged Romantic Relationship With Simi
Nigerian singer and activist, Folarin Falana, better known as Falz The Bhad Guy, has finally reacted to alleged romantic relationship between himself and fellow singer, Simi.
Speaking during a recent interview with Hip TV,ย Falz while denying dating rumours between himself and Simi, described her as family.
Heย acknowledged that they clicked musically but clarified that there is nothing between them.
He recalled how he reached out toย Simiย after hearing her breakthrough song โJamb Questionโ and her their musical chemistry inspired more future collaborations.
He said, โI met Simi 2013 or 2014. I reached out to her first time I heard โJamb Questionโ to let her know Iโve written a verse for the remix that weโve not yet discussed.
โAnd we went on to do it, shot the video and from then onwards, every other track was so natural. Sheโs family, we really really clicked musically and we just had to really explore that. It was beautiful.”
It would be recalled that recently, Simi also revealed that people thought she and Falz were dating because of their intense musical chemistry.
Speaking during an appearance on Angela Yeeโs podcast, the mother of oneย stated thatย before she got married, most people thought that they were in a romantic relationship.
Simi is married to singer, Adekunle Gold, and in 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, Adejare
