Family members, friends and political associates of the immediate-past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Saturday morning, gathered to pray on the occasion of his 67th birthday.
The prayer session led by Imam Daud Imran, popularly known as Igi-Ogun, alongside other Islamic clerics featured the recitation of the Quran and several prayers.
Imam Daud noted that Ogbeni Aregbesola is a trailblazer and performer, whose leadership impact transcends political office.
He prayed Allah to grant the former Governor of Osun, long life and many more years in service to God and humanity.
Some of the dignitaries at the prayer included the Wife of the celebrant, Alhaja Sherifat Aregbesola, the former Speaker of Osun Assembly, Dr. Najeem Salaam, Senator Adelere Oriolowo, Chairman, Omoluabi Progressives, Alhaji Azeez Adesiji, former Cabinet members in Osun.
