Fani Kayode Blasts Zamfara Dep. Governor For Not Defecting To APC

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Minister of aviation , Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has berated the deputy governor of Zamfara state, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau, for refusing to decamp alongside the state governor to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the PDP.

Recall that, the governor of Zamfara state, Bello Matawalle, recently dumped the PDP through which he became governor for the APC.
The deputy governor however refused to follow the governor to the APC, choosing to remain in the PDP.

Fani Kayode took to his Twitter handle @realFFK to condemn the deputy governor, accusing him of disloyalty.

He tweeted, “When a Governor decamps from one party to another shouldn’t his Deputy go with him? Is that not what loyalty is all about? Against his better judgement @Bellomatawalle1 picked you as his running mate & made you Deputy Governor & now you undermine & betray him?

“Shame on you!”
