Visitors were sent back by the family of late Chief Gani Fawehinmi on Thursday, to restrict them on condolence visit over the death of Mohammed Fawehinmi, from accessing their Ikeja GRA residence.
OsunDefender reported the death of Mohammed, yesterday Wednesday, from breathing complications.
As early as 7.00 am, visitors were stopped from accessing the Fawehinmi’s residence by security men at the entrance of the street.
Others, who somehow beat security checks, were stopped from accessing the family house located on Ademola street by a family member.
A source said visitors were disallowed into the family compound because mother of the deceased, Mrs. Ganiyat Fawehinmi, is yet to be informed of the sad incident.
However, a tent has been erected in front of the family’s house.
A register has also been opened under the tent for sympathisers to leave their condolence messages.
