Fenerbahce Sack Mourinho
Turkish giants Fenerbahçe Sports Club have announced the departure of Portuguese manager José Mourinho after just one season in charge of the team.
This was contained in a statement released on Friday on the club X account.
The club said it had parted ways with the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss, who took over at the beginning of the 2024/2025 season.
”We have parted ways with Jose Mourinho, who has been the manager of our Professional Football A Team since the 2024-2025 season. We thank him for his efforts for our team and wish him success in his future career, ” the statement read.
Mourinho, 62, joined Fenerbahce in June 2024.
However, his spell ended prematurely after a mixed run of results in domestic and European competitions.
