By Nofisat Marindoti

The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has revealed that the Federal Government has approved the sum of $41.5million for the completion of Ilesa water Project.

Aregbesola disclosed this during a courtesy call at the palace of the Owa-Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Dr. Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran in Ilesa on Wednesday.

Mr Governor thereby implored the residents of the State to vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the coming governorship election to prevent the money from getting into the wrong hands.

Aregbesola also stated that the two major markets in the town would be developed within the next two weeks.

“I have awarded the markets to the contractor and given him two weeks to do the job. If the markets are not developed within the stated period, I promise to take over myself. ”

In his address, Oba Aromolaran prayed for the success of the party at the poll. He also urged the party’s candidate not to forget the traditional rulers if he gets into power.

“I wish you success and God’s guidance. I pray God bless your aspirations and crown all your efforts with success.”
