Fire: Oyetola Sympathizes With Plank Sellers

 

The Governor, state of Osun, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has admonished people of the state to be more careful from fire disasters during this season.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola stated this while sympathizing with plank sellers at Awosuru area, Alekuwodo, Osogbo over the overnight havoc at the plank market.

According to an eyewitness account, names withheld, he explained that the inferno started at 12 midnight, adding that all efforts to quench the inferno proved abortive.

He commends the efforts of the fire services for their timeliness because it was beyond control before their arrival.

Addressing the plank sellers, Governor Gboyega Oyetola promised that the state government will rise to their challenges as soon as possible.

Governor Oyetola urged them to be more careful by making sure that all electronics appliances in their various shops should be switched off to prevent future occurrence.

He however prayed God to put an end to such ugly occurrence.
