Fire Razes 8 Shops In Oyo (Photos)

No fewer than eight shops have been razed by fire in Oyo town.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at Oke Asamu, Kosobo area of Oyo.
According to sources, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
It was learned that no fewer than eight shops were affected.
Findings revealed that property worth millions of naira has been destroyed as a result of the incident.

The General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Mr. Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident.
Akinyinka, while reacting, confirmed that eight shops were affected.
He said, “At the early hour on Tuesday, 18th February, 2025, Oyo State Fire Services’ Control Room Center received a distress call.
“The fire personnel, led by ACFS Oyedeji, were promptly deployed to the scene of the incident and arrived at the scene on time.
“The fire affected eight shops out of eighteen rows of multiple shops.”
