Firm Linked To President Tinubu In Fresh Scandal Over Inhuman Treatment Of Staff Members
A fresh wave of outrage has erupted within Alpha Beta Consulting LLP, a tax consulting firm reportedly linked to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following damning revelations of systemic discrimination, favouritism, and alleged inhuman treatment of several long-serving employees.
Insider sources told SaharaReporters that some staff members who dedicated over two decades to the firm received as little as N400,000 to N500,000 in gratuity upon retirement, while close associates of the Group Managing Director, Otunba Akinsanya Doherty, were reportedly handed full salaries for a year after exit and retained as contractors on generous terms.
This stark contrast has sparked fury among current and former employees who described the treatment as “inhumane and deeply unjust.”
Further accusations include nepotistic appointments into top positions, with some senior roles reportedly awarded based on personal ties rather than merit.
The firm’s health insurance scheme was also criticised for being inadequate, with staff alleging they were often stranded during medical emergencies.
Repeated efforts by journalists to obtain a response from the firm’s Human Relations Officer, Ige Anjolaoluwa-Amusan, were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
