FLASH: Protest Rocks Osogbo Over Sim Blockage

Residents of Osun State on Monday morning, stormed the office of a network provider, MTN to protest the blockage of their sim.

The residents in a video sighted by Osun Defender were heard lamenting over the difficulties they are facing since their sims were blocked.

The protesters, in their hundreds, blocked the road, with motorists having to navigate other routes.

One of the protesters was heard saying, “Thank God I didn’t come to Osogbo for nothing. We’ve started our own protest in Osun.”

Another protester who spoke in Yoruba language, asked the other protesters to send some private vehicles trying to navigate the road back.

The protester said, “Send them back. You should also go back to your house. There is no going to the office for you today.”
