FLASH: Rivers Assembly Dissolves All 23 Local Government Chairmen
The Rivers State House of Assembly has dissolved all the 23 local government chairmen in the state with immediate effect.
The move, according to reports was one of the first major decisions taken by the new speaker of the assembly, Hon. Edison Ehie.
Earlier, the parliament under the new leadership suspended the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Simeon Amadi.
The developments OSUN DEFENDER gathered is not unconnected with the impeachment moves against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, which began late yesterday.
