In a recent development, Festus Akande, the Public Relations Officer for the Supreme Court, has disclosed the cause of the fire outbreak that occurred within a section of the apex court.
Akande, in an exclusive conversation with Channels TV, attributed the fire’s origin to electrical issues originating from one of the Justices’ chambers, highlighting that swift action was taken to extinguish the flames through the use of fire extinguishers.
This revelation follows the earlier report by Osun Defender detailing the morning fire incident that affected a portion of the Supreme Court.
Furthermore, Akande emphatically refuted online reports suggesting casualties, labeling them as “false information.”
