Six out of 14 kidnapped victims in Osun state by suspected herdsmen have been rescued.
The victims were passengers of a commercial bus that was attacked on Sunday by kidnappers.
They where ambushed at Ajeokun Junction, between Otan Ile and Imesi Ile , Obokun Local Government Area of the state and later taken to a hideout by their abductors.
However, the rescue was made possible with the joint efforts of OPC, Vigilante group, police and DSS.
Osun State Coordinator of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Chief Aladesawe Adedeji confirmed that six out of the abducted victims have been rescued.
He said the search operation was still ongoing.
