Former Globacom Manager, Okon Iyanam, Assassinated In Ogun

A former Executive Director, Marketing Communication at telecommunications company, Globacom, Okon Iyanam, was reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his guesthouse in Mowe, Ogun State yesterday June 27th.

According to reports, the gunmen after gaining entrance into his guesthouse, made their way into his room where they woke him up and then shot him at close range.

Iyanam was until his death the chief executive officer of Bond Consulting.

He was a pioneer staff of Globacom, serving as a special adviser to the chairman, Mike Adenuga, and was executive director, Marketing communications before he left for his private practice.

He was also a former Akwa Ibom governorship aspirant under the platform of Accord Party.
