He explained that the aims and objectives of the NGO is โ€œto mobilise and sensitise Christians about their important to societal development, present politics in its clear picture toward achieving good governance and correct erroneous and wrong impression of Christians about politics and governance.โ€

Other objectives of the NGO, according to Adebiyi, is โ€œto set a target in society where Christians take their rightful position in good governance and promote good virtues of Christians in relation to equity, responsibility, right attitude, fairness and accountability.โ€

Speaking at the meeting, the CAN Chairman in the state, Reverend (Dr) John Adeleke, commended Adebiyi, appreciating the vision of the NGO to mobilise Christians to join politics and to erase some of the misconceptions.

Adeleke noted that if the righteous ones refused to join because of some of the bad notions, the bad people will continue to rule over them.
