Four Dead, 10 Injured In Osun Road Accident
Four persons have been confirmed dead while 10 others sustained injuries in a road accident which occurred on Thursday night at Omi-Asoro junction in Ilesa, Osun state.
The incident which occurred around 9: p.m, involved a Toyota Privia commercial vehicle and a Suzuki mini-bus.
It was gathered that the Privia bus was heading to the Eastern part of the country with goods including phone accessories and electronic appliances while the mini-bus was operating within the community.
Confirming the Incident, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun Command, Sunday Adebayo, through the Sector Public Education Officer, Agnes Ogungbemi, said the three passengers including a child died instantly while another person died on Friday morning.
Ogungbemi said the deceased bodies have been deposited at the mortuary while the injured are receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

She said, “Four people died while 10 sustained injuries. Three of the victims – two male adults and a female child, died instantly while another person died this morning. The deceased have been taken to Westley Hospital.
“The injured include seven adults and three children. The accident involved a Toyota Privia commercial vehicle and a Suzuki commercial mini-bus. The driver of the mini-bus had no driver’s licence.”
