Four persons have been confirmed dead and 10 others injured in a lone accident involving Chisco Motors.
The accident happened around 6:30am on Friday around Stepdown area of Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area.
Ondo Police spokesman, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said the luxurious bus marked KSF 93 YG left Port Harcourt for Lagos State and on getting to stepdown area of Ore, the driver lost control and rammed into a ditch.
“Passengers of the vehicle were rushed to Grace of God hospital by the Police. Four people were confirmed dead and their remains deposited at the hospital mortuary while 10 were injured and are being treated.
“The public are hereby advised to check on their loved ones who left for Lagos from Port Harcourt with Chisco Transport.
“The command while sympathizing with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate accident use this medium to advise transportation companies to be circumspect on physical and mental condition of drivers engaged to drive passengers,” she said.
