Four Villagers Running From Bandits’ Attack Drown In Niger
Four persons have reportedly drowned when a boat conveying them capsized.
The victims who were from the Gurmana community of Shiroro local government area of Niger State were said to have been fleeing from bandits who raided the community on Wednesday night.
LEADERSHIP reported that the villagers had fled to an island to hide from bandits, Wednesday night, but the incident occurred while coming back on Thursday after the Bandits had finished raiding the communities.

It was learnt that the villagers used to go to the island in the middle of the River on River Kaduna to hide from bandits who are usually scared of rivers.
Bandits reportedly killed three persons in the last night attacks and also rustled cattle and abducted scores In Bassa near Gurmana.
