A story has come out on how Honourable Francis Ogbona Nwifuru became the governor of Ebonyi State having being a mason
in his village, Izzi in 2010.

A social media influencer, Tunde Ednut, who shared the story alongside an old picture of the Governor and his family, said, “Pictured here with his wife and son, no one could have predicted his future.

“By a stroke of fate in 2011, he was sponsored to run for the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, where he quickly rose to become Speaker. The then-governor saw potential in him and backed him as the APC governorship candidate. Today, he is the Governor.

“Remarkably, he even sat for his Senior School Certificate Examination while serving in the Assembly.
