The Executive Director, Community Advancement Initiative for Self Reliance (CAI4SR), Mrs. Eniola Ayeni, has disclosed the plan of the non-profit organization to organize free eye check up for fifty thousand children in the State of Osun, as well as provide free eye glasses for five thousand of them.
Mrs Ayeni disclosed that the programme is aimed at preventing childhood blindness among school children with the collaboration of Essilor-Social Impact Fund.
She disclosed that children will be drawn from fifteen local government areas of the state, and further urged parents to make their children age one to sixteen available for the programme.
