The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has held a closed-door meeting with the Labour Party’s 2023 Lagos State governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, at the former’s residence in Lagos.
The meeting, which took place late Tuesday evening, has triggered speculations among political watchers, especially within Lagos and South-West political circles.
Although details of the meeting were not disclosed to journalists, a source close to the former Minister of Interior said the parley was “strategic and forward-looking,” with both men said to have discussed matters bordering on the state of the nation and the future of progressive politics in the South-West.
