The son of Idriss Deby, the late President of Chad with the name Mahamat Kaka, an Army General, has been prononunced the interim Head of State of the country.
The spokesman of the Chadian Army, General Azem Bermandoa Agouna made the public announcement today after the official declaration of the death of President Idriss Deby.
You will recall that the death news of President Deby was earlier confirmed by General Azem who is the Army spokesman stating that the President gave up the ghost in the defence of his country’s sovereign on the battlefield.
General Azem said the President was shot dead at the war front while confronting some rebels with his soldiers.
He said, General Kaka is now the interim president of Chad.
