Gerard Pique To Miss Copa Del Rey Semi
Gerard Pique is set to miss the semi-final second leg of the Copa Del Rey against Valencia after suffering a knee injury.
The Barclona centre back scored the leveler in a 1-1 La Liga draw at Espanyol on Sunday but strained ligaments in his right knee towards the end of the game.
Pique could be be off for a month and is set to miss the Champions League trip to Chelsea on Feb. 20, but he is set to miss the Valencia Cup game on Thursday and the league clash with Getafe on Sunday. This is coming from the earlier reports.
New signing Yerry Mina could make his Barcelona debut alongside Samuel Umtiti against Valencia, with Thomas Vermaelen not yet fit after injuring his hamstring last month.
