Governor Adeleke Reinstates Secretary, Judicial Service Commission
Governor Ademola Adeleke has reinstated Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as the Secretary of the Osun State Judicial Service Commission.
Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Spokesperson to Governor Adeleke, in a statement made available to Osun Defender, said the order takes immediate effect.
The statement reads; “Governor Adeleke Reinstates Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as Secretary, Osun State Judicial Service Commission.
“The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the reinstatement of Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as the Secretary of the Osun State Judicial Service Commission with immediate effect.”
Osun Defender recalls that Adeleke had on October 30, approved the dissolution of statutory commissions in the state with immediate effect.
The former members of the statutory commissions were appointed by former governor Adegboyega Oyetola, and have remained in office since November 27, 2022, when Governor Adeleke took over, because they have a fixed tenure of office, according to law.
The commissions are; the state Civil Service Commission, the Judicial Service Commission, the state Independent Electoral Commission and the state House of Assembly Service Commission.
