Governor’s Aide Dies After Complaining Of Toothache
Suleiman Aliyu Garga, an aide to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, is dead.
It was gathered that he died just three days after complaining about a severe toothache.
Garga, who served as the Special Assistant on Content Creation, had shared a message on Facebook on Thursday, July 17, warning others about the pain of toothache and calling for prayers.
“You should pray to God to save you from toothache even if it is for 1 minute Alaji. Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs,” he wrote.
After his post, he was admitted to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital for surgery related to the tooth issue.
However, complications arose when the surgery site began to bleed.
He passed away on Saturday, July 19, less than a day after the operation.
His burial took place the following morning, Sunday, July 20, at the Yolde Pate Muslim Cemetery in Yola.
The funeral was conducted according to Islamic rites after the Sallah Raka’at prayers at Modibbo Zailani Mosque in Yola Town.
