State Coordinator, Osun Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO), Mr. Olufemi Ifaturoti has for the umpteenth time scored Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s administration very high in the area of social protection since the creation of the state.
Ifaturoti stated this while playing host to Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS) delegation led by its Executive Secretary, Dr. Adeniyi Oginni in his office in Osogbo.
The OHIS delegation, who visited the YESSO office with a view to seeking partnership with the agency in the area of data gathering in its quest at achieving qualitative universal health coverage specifically for the poor and vulnerable in the state.
He disclosed that the unwavering commitment of Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration to the cause of the downtrodden as reflected in his several policies and social safety net interventions has transformed the lives of residents across the nooks and crannies of the state.
Ifaturoti, who doubles as the Director General, Bureau of Social Services, Office of the Governor, enjoined the visiting delegation not to rest on its oars at ensuring the achievement of qualitative universal health coverage for the poor in the State.
Earlier in his remarks at the meeting, Dr. Oginni maintained that OHIS in its quest to providing access to qualitative health care to all and sundry specifically the poor and vulnerable in the society deemed it necessary to seek partnership with the agency.
