THE Osun State government has warned residents against bush burning during the dry season to avoid fire outbreak.
According to the government, it is important for every household do away with any practice that might lead to inferno during the festive period.
The Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Environment and Sanitation, Mr. Babatunde Balogun, gave the warning in an interview with newsmen, yesterday.
Balogun said there is the need to take adequate measures during harmattan season to ensure that all the negative things associated with it are prevented.
He urged residents of the state to continue to keep their environment clean in order to prevent diseases before, during and after the coming Christmas and new year celebrations.
