A group within the progressives fold in Osun State has donated sets of chairs to the Osogbo Local Government Chapter of the Omoluabi Progressives.
Osun Defender reports that the chairs were distributed to the 15 wards of the caucus in Osogbo LG.
According to the donors, Omoluabi Progressives is a political tendency that propagates responsible leadership, hence the need to support its programmes and ideology.
The group also noted that it is inspired to contribute to the success of the caucus due to its leadership championed by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who is the doyen of pogressive politics in Osun.

A statement by its coordinating team said, “We are very inspired by the efforts of Omoluabi Progressives to facilitate responsible leadership at the grassroots.
“Omoluabi is not just an idea but an ideology that cuts across all divides of the political terrain. Our leader, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, represents a hope for the common man. This is why it is important to uphold the activities of the caucus.
“In the next few months, we will unveil more activities to further uplift the tendency,” the group said.
