Guest Killed In Bauchi Naming-Ceremony Fight
A 20-year-old man, Haruna Haruna, has died after a fight broke out during a naming ceremony in Kwata Village, Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
A security and counterinsurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this in a statement on X on Thursday.
Zagazola stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday when an argument among some youths reportedly degenerated into a violent scuffle, leaving Haruna unconscious.
He wrote, “A 20-year-old man, Haruna Haruna of Kwata Village, Warji Local Government Area, Bauchi State, has reportedly died following a violent altercation during a naming ceremony on 2 December 2025.

“Zagazola understands that a misunderstanding among some youths at the ceremony escalated into a physical fight, leaving the victim in a comatose state.”
Haruna was said to have been rushed to the General Hospital, Warji, but died while receiving treatment.
