A member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Pankshin South Constituency has reportedly been abducted from his home at Dong area of Jos North LGA.

According to AIT, the lawmaker was abducted from his home at Dong area of Jos North LGA.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Plateau State has been battling insecurity.
Recall that the district Head of Birbyang, Alhaji Zubairu Usman Garba, and two other women were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday night in Kanam local Government Area of the state.
Meanwhile, the Plateau State Governor, Mr. Caleb Mutfwang, has restated his firm support for the establishment of state police as part of efforts to tackle insecurity across his state and Nigeria.
The governor spoke while fielding questions from members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) who visited him at the Rayfield Government House in Jos.
