A yet to be identified woman has been kidnapped at gunpoint between Omuawa and Ubima communities in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A commercial bus driver who plies the Port Harcourt Owerri Road confirmed the incident.
He said the criminals ambushed the woman and dragged her out of her vehicle at gunpoint on Thursday evening.
The eyewitness added that the vehicle of the kidnapped victim was abandoned along the Isiokpo/Omurelu-Owerri New Road after she was taken to a nearby bush by the kidnappers.
The Rivers State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
