Suleiman Quadri, a member of the Oyo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun, has been killed by unknown gunmen.
The commandant of the Oyo Amotekun Corps, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (rtd), confirmed the incident to newsmen.
The unknown gunmen numbering about 11, were said to have opened fire on Quadri and his colleague Amoo Yisau while escorting the staff of a farm to the farmland in Fiditi yesterday.
While Yisau survived with gunshot injuries, Quadri gave up the ghost.
Yisau is presently receiving treatment at the General Hospital.
