Gunmen Kill Former Abuja Veterinary Doctors’ Chair As Three Children Remain With Kidnappers
The immediate past chairman of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) FCT chapter, Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, has been reportedly murdered in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Reports stated that armed men stormed his residence in Kubwa, Abuja, and abducted him along with his three children.
The doctor’s body was said to have been found dumped by the roadside, while his children are still missing.
Posting the tragic news on his Facebook page, Andrew Gabriel Ikechukwu, explained that Dr Ogbu was kidnapped along with three of his children, but later found dead, while the three children were yet to be released.
He said, “Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, the immediate past chairman of the NVMA FCT chapter, who was kidnapped alongside his three children from his home in Kubwa, Abuja, was found dead.
“The three children are yet to be released. May God please intervene.”
