Hamas Declares Iran’s Attack A Bold Warning to the World
A senior Hamas official, Izzat al-Risheq, has declared that Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel was a bold and deliberate message to the world, warning that any party who dares to strike will face consequences.
Al-Risheq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, made the declaration following Iran’s retaliatory strike on Israel, which took place between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Several areas in Israel were hit, with images showing destroyed homes and emergency medical services confirming they were treating at least 21 injured individuals in the coastal plain.
The development followed Israel’s earlier airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities.
Al-Risheq, in a statement posted on Hamas’s Telegram account, stated, “Dozens of precision missiles and drones successfully hit their targets deep inside the entity, despite all the hype about Israel’s defence system. The message of the response is clear: whoever attacks will pay the price.”
