Two people have reportedly lost their lives in a building collapse in Nomansland, Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State, with two others rescued alive.
The incident follows the devastating effects of recent flooding in the state.
It was gathered that the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Thursday, following a severe downpour.

Saminu Abudullahi, Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Fire Service, confirmed that rescue teams managed to save two people.
He said the rescued people have been hospitalized, while the bodies of the deceased were recovered.
He added that the floodwaters impacted the stability of the building, which was situated near the overflowed waterway.
Meanwhile, the Kano State Emergency Management Agency reported on Wednesday that the floods had claimed 31 lives and destroyed 5,280 houses across 21 local government areas of the state.
