“Height Of Wickedness:” Nigerians React As LASU Lecturer Allegedly Forces Students To Stand In Heavy Rain
A disturbing video has sparked widespread outrage across social media, showing students of the Department of Agriculture at Lagos State University (LASU) drenched and visibly shivering in heavy rain allegedly under the orders of a lecturer.
The clip, originally posted by naijaeverything_verified, showed students in full farming gear, completely soaked and trembling as the rain pours down without pause. The caption accompanying the post claims the lecturer forced them to remain in the rain as a form of punishment.
“Omohh!! Which kind wicked lecturer be this this. He made students stay inside a heavy rain so as to punish them,” the post reads.
More alarming are student claims that the lecturer regularly forces them to endure harsh conditions if they fail to greet him with “goodnight sir.”
More troubling are unverified allegations emerging in the wake of the video. Several students reportedly claim that the lecturer is notorious for abusing his position, with accusations of sexual exploitation for grades now gaining traction. “The LASU board should investigate immediately,” the original post urged, adding that “some videos related to his abuse of power are now circulating on the internet.”
Students are calling for immediate intervention, expressing fears that the lecturer could jeopardize their graduation if nothing is done.
The shocking footage has drawn intense criticism and reactions from Nigerians online, who didn’t hold back in voicing their fury:
scotia_safety_store: “I’ll rather fail that course than two weeks with malaria… den no vex.”
nikkyflow: “Wetin una SUG dey do abhi they are just putting money in there pockets.”

mrkaydee: “We actually like to suffer in this country because me I will not stand with y’all in that rain and nothing will happen.”
As the video continues to circulate, pressure is mounting on LASU authorities and state education stakeholders to act swiftly. Many are demanding disciplinary action and thorough investigation into the allegations of harassment and abuse of power.
