Osun State Government has intensified efforts to prevent spread of HIV/AIDS to beat the 2030 deadline.
Commissioner for Health, Barr. Jola Akintola said government is committed to controlling and managing the epidemic in the state.
Akintola, while speaking at the distribution of HIV prevention tools to stakeholders by the Osun State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OSACA) in Osogbo, on Tuesday, emphasised that the administration is taking bold steps to ensure that it meets the deadline.

The commissioner appealed to residents to get tested and seek treatment if necessary.
He also urged healthcare workers to use the equipment judiciously.
