HOLD YOUR UNITS FIRM FOR THE COMING PARTY CONGRESS – EJIGBO TOP TELLS MEMBERS

 

The leadership of the Osun Progressives (TOP) in Ejigbo Local Government area of state of Osun has charged all members to hold their units and Wards firmly towards the party congress in the state.

This was said by the state Youth leader of the Osun Progressives, Prince Ademola Adetoyese at the meeting held by the Osun Progressives at Ejigbo Local Government on Monday.

Adetoyese while addressing the members of the Osun Progressives said, all members of All Progressives Congress (APC) especially TOP members must work hard in their various wards to put loyal party members in exco positions at the coming congress.

He said, “All loyal members of APC must go back to their various wards and units and work hard towards the upcoming congress in the state. So that loyal party members will not suffer at the congress.

“Let me state it clear that TOP is not against the present government of governor Adegboyega Oyetola because the government is ours, we voted him to be there. So, It is time to put our people in position at the congress.

” The formation of TOP meeting is to fight for people’s right.The meeting we hold today is in courtesy of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Hon. Najeemdeen Salam, Senator Mudasir Hussain who are our leaders. We need to prepare for the congress not for some people to cheat us”.

Also speaking at the meeting, The Director General of Oranmiyan Wordwide, Mr Sodiq Olajide applauded the people of Ejigbo for their resilience in organising the meeting. He said if those people in power today witness what they experienced in 2003, they won’t allow the party to go in disarray.

Olajide added that if disunity within the party continues without addressing it, it may cost the party a lot at the coming election.

He said, “if the party is strong enough, they ought to have conducted local government elections instead of appointing caretaker.

“Ejigbo is one of the leading local Governments with highest number of votes at the last poll. I am emphasising that Osun west will produce the next Governor of the state”.

The Director General of Oranmiyan also alleged added the present Government of hoarding cards during the last voters registration in the state. He however urged the people to hold their units for the victory of the party in the coming Governorship poll in the state
