Team Hope Spring Water was thrilled to be honoured with an award for our ongoing efforts to alleviate water poverty and promote conservation. The award was presented to the NGO by the Sustainable Empowerment Access Network (SEAN), an outstanding NGO dedicated to connecting other NGOs with communities in need of support and resources. SEAN’s commitment to making lasting, positive change in underserved areas is truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful to be recognized by such an esteemed organization.
One of the highlights of our year has been the Ifedayo Community Borehole Project in Kwara State, Nigeria. This initiative aimed to provide sustainable access to clean water for the Ifedayo community. Working alongside the project manager, Dr. Rahmat Adebisi, and Ifedayo community representative, Comrade Abidemi, we successfully created a reliable water source that has improved the quality of life for many. You can Learn more about the Ifedayo Community Borehole Project.
In addition to the Ifedayo project, Hope Spring has been involved in several other successful water initiatives this year. 2024 has been a year filled with impactful projects, and we’re excited to carry this momentum into 2025. Through projects like the Ifedayo borehole and many others, we continue our mission to fight water poverty and support conservation efforts.
Our ability to achieve these milestones wouldn’t be possible without the continued support from our donors, volunteers, and the wider community.
A huge part of our funding comes from the sale of our Hope Spring eCards, particularly our Charity Christmas eCards. These eCards serve as a perfect way for people to spread holiday cheer while also supporting a cause that brings life-saving water to those in need.
Each eCard purchase directly supports our water projects, and every card sent is a reminder that together, we can make a difference.

At Hope Spring, we often say that the real heroes are our volunteers and the team who are working around the clock to ensure that our projects succeed. Without the tireless dedication of our volunteers on the ground and the passion of our UK-based team working to raise awareness and funds, none of this would be possible.
Mr. Mubarak Oladosu, a Hope Spring trustee based in Ilorin, expressed his delight with the award, stating, “We are thrilled that our work in water poverty alleviation and conservation is being recognised. This award would not have been possible without the hard work of our dedicated volunteers and the UK team, who are instrumental in raising awareness and funds for our cause.”
This recognition fuels our passion to continue working toward our vision of a world where every person has access to clean, safe water. As we move forward into 2025, Hope Spring Water is more committed than ever to making a real and lasting impact on communities in need, and we thank everyone who has supported us along the way.
