How 16-Year-Old Girl Accused Of Killing Ex-Boyfriend, Four Others With Pepper Soup Was Framed

A 16-year-old girl, Aisha Suleiman, who was accused of poisoning her ex-boyfriend, identified as Emmanuel, and four other young men in Afashio community in the Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State has opened up on how she was framed.

Ezekiel reportedly found the body of a young man, Nurudeen, in the corridor.
Moving further into the apartment, he discovered Emmanuel, 19, and his girlfriend, identified as Ada Samuel, also 16, lying lifeless on the bedroom bed.
Two other friends of Emmanuel’s, Samuel and Jeffrey Ayegwalo, both siblings, were found unresponsive in the sitting room.

“He said anyone that sees me will be given N500,000 that I was the one who poisoned them. We were going to the police station to report the matter when we were stopped by the same Ezena and his friends and they threatened to kill me. It was the local security who rescued me.”
Counsel to the accused, Ibude Osamwonyi, said he decided to pick up the case after he was convinced that the girl was innocent.
“Because of her age, they could not take her to prison, that was why she was remanded at the welfare. However, when contacted for clarification, the Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Police Command, Moses Yamu, said the case has been charged to court.
