A man, Ulagu Philemon Chukwuma, has been arrested for allegedly abducting his boss’ 12-year-old son, Justin Nwankwo.
The suspect who was a chef in the Nwanko house was said to have collected the sum of N3.9 million as ransom.
He was arrested by operatives of the FCT Police Command.
Parading the suspect, the Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, said the boy was kidnapped on February 10, in the Jabi area of Abuja.
He explained that the suspect connived with one McDonald Arinze (at large) to commit the crime and collected N3.9m as ransom from the victim’s father.
