How Labaran Maku’s Phone Was Stolen Inside Appeal Court
The cellphone of a former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, was on Wednesday allegedly stolen inside the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Wednesday.
Maku was among the politicians from Nasarawa state were at the court in support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate, David Ombugada.
Osun Defender gathered that the ex-minister became worried after fruitless attempts to recover the phone.
Some of his supporters and aides searched for the missing phone without any luck.
Other persons also rang the line severally in a bid to trace the phone but it was not found before Maku left the court.
The Nasarawa governorship election tribunal had nullified the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule, ruling in favour of Ombugadu.
But Sule, who ran under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), challenged the tribunal’s verdict.
