How Oyetola’s Govt. Clamped Down On Me Because Of My Loyalty To Aregbesola – AARAJ

POPULAR Osogbo indigene and philanthropist, Engr. Kehinde Raji, popularly known as Aaraj, has revealed while he ceased his support for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s administration in the State of Osun. 

According to Raji, he distanced himself from Oyetola’s administration when it began to clampdown on him because of his loyalty to the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. 

The civil engineer and contractor, in a statement posted on his facebook page, on Wednesday, said Oyetola’s administration refused to patronise him for 46 months despite working for the Governor’s emergence in 2018.

He added that he was indebted to the tune of N425m because the government refused to release contract funds running into hundreds of millions indirectly owned by him.

Raji said he sold his property both in Nigeria and abroad to offset the debt. 

In the statement titled ‘Summary of my grouse with this government’, Raji said: “A lot of friends and families started calling me when they saw my post since last week which shocked them, knowing fully well that I am a peace-loving dude, I have decided to summarise a little for your sense of judgement.

“No patronage in the State for 46 months despite working for Oyetola’s emergence, I moved on.

“Funds running into hundreds of millions indirectly owned was intentionally not paid to my major contractor (HONGYE) because I am involved while others got paid and remobilised, I still moved on.

“Bank loan secured for point no (2) rose from N300million to N425million. Hon Wale Bolorunduro and Gov Oyetola knew about it; property home and abroad was sold for bank repayment, I still moved on.

“All federal jobs opportunities were closed because of my loyalty to Rauf and certificates left hanging unpaid since 2020, I still moved on

“A case of tax evasion was levied through a sponsored petition but God sorted it, I still moved on.

“A sponsored petition was written against me again in Oyo by a senior aide of this government using PDP officials in Oyo as fronts after the terrible loss of the election, but God scattered their plans and exposed the brain behind it. Now tell me if you were in my position, will you continue to pray for this evil-minded people?
