The lawmaker representing Iwo State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adesina Atanda Rabiu, has withdrawn the letter of his official resignation from the Accord Party to the All Progressives Congress.

In the letter addressed to the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Olumide Egbedun, the lawmaker expressed appreciation for the leadership of the 8th Assembly and the party.

Although the letter was not dated or signed, Rabiu described the Speaker as a “distinguished leader” and commended his “visionary leadership and unwavering commitment” to both the Assembly and the Accord Party.

He, however, stated that his decision to leave the party was personal, adding that he would prefer to keep the reasons undisclosed.
