Popular reggae, dance-hall singer, Patoranking has said that the death of the late young musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba better known as Mohbad could have been prevented.
Recall that, the death of Afrobeat star, MohBad, stirred many controversies and protests across the country with youths demanding justice for the singer as his death was believed to have been orchestrated.
The death of Mohbad who was signed under the record label of popular singer, Naira Marley’s Marlian Music shook the music industry and its fans.
Speaking about the singer’s death during a feature in Afrobeats Podcast, Patoranking said the late singer’s death could have been prevented if they paid attention to his lyrics.
He added that Mohbad doesn’t deserve what happened to him, noting that it is important to seek justice for him.
He said, ”It’s so sad when you open your phone and you see Mohbad’s pictures and you come to the realization that he is not coming back again. It’s still hard to believe that he is gone.
”I sent him a DM in April just to commend his work and he replied me. He didn’t deserve what happened to him. Seeking Justice for him is very important and I stand by it.
”It is very good to pay attention to lyrics. If we had paid attention to lyrics we would have seen signs from Mohbad.”
