Hunter Group Honours Amotekun Osun

 

The National body of the Hunter Group of Nigeria, HGN, has expressed satisfaction with the numerous achievements recorded by Amotekun Corps, State of Osun; just as it awarded a leading adhoc staff of the corps, Mr. Hammed Nureni, popularly called ”AK LEADER”, as the best commander of the group in the country.

The award was presented to AK LEADER by the Assistant Inspector General, training and development , police force headquarters, at an event in Abuja, attended by all states’ commandants of the HGN, in the presence of all thirty six States executives, as well as representatives of the Nigeria Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, among other stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, the commandant general of HGN, Mr. Joshua Osatimehin, expressed satisfaction with the efforts of Amotekun Osun, since the appointment of its Field Commander, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, by Governor ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA, in April; pledging the continued support of the group towards the state owned security outfit, so as to record more feats.

Reacting, the Field Commander of Amotekun Corps, State of Osun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, thanked the Hunters Group of Nigeria, for appreciating Amotekun Corps, through one of its adhoc officers, Mr. Hammed Nureni, ”AK LEADER” and thanked Governor ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA for the opportunity.

In his response, Mr. Hammed Nureni dedicated the award to Governor ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA, the Field Commander, Amotekun Corps, State of Osun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu and CDA, Central, Alhaji Bayo Oyekanmi; pledging to strive more to support the government of Osun and consolidate on the existing achievements of the state owned security organization.
