I Have Not Rejoined APC – Adeoti
A former Secretary to the Osun State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has debunked reports that he has rejoined the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
It would be recalled that Adeoti, last week, announced his resignation from the Omoluabi Progressives, a caucus loyal to the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
He cited family pressure and the need to take a rest as the reason for his withdrawal from the group.
However, there were rumours on Thursday, particularly from the camp of the Ilerioluwa caucus of the APC that the Iwo-born politician has rejoined the APC.
However, a statement from his media office said the entirety of the said rumour remains in the imaginations of the writer or its sponsors.
Alhaji Adeoti stressed that he was equally surprised by the news, adding that he has no plan at the moment to rejoin the APC.
He said, “Just like every one of my supporters, I was equally surprised to see the report of my rejoining the APC, as there was no time I informed anyone of my decision to rejoin the APC.
“Since the news went viral, I have been bombarded with calls from all my supporters in the country and those in the diaspora.”
