I Make $1,000 Monthly From Twitter – Reno Omokri
Social commentator and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has revealed that he earns nearly $1,000 monthly from social media influencing, attributing the income to his large subscriber base on X (formerly Twitter).
Speaking during an interview on Arise News on Wednesday, Omokri said he has the highest number of paid subscribers on the platform in Africa.
“I have the highest number of paid subscribers on X — formerly known as Twitter — in Africa,” he said.
“Even if I don’t do anything, if I just sleep and wake up, I earn close to a thousand dollars.”
Omokri explained that the steady income has given him the freedom to travel and speak his mind.
“So I have the luxury to travel all around the world. This year alone, I’ve been to 18 countries
“That’s why I can say the truth to anybody — because I have a consistent legal income flow, and no one can muzzle me,” he said.
During the interview, Omokri also dismissed the recent alignment between Peter Obi and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as a weak coalition.
“That’s not a coalition — it’s a loser’s convention,” he said.
He maintained that Obi would not win the 2027 presidential election.
“Peter Obi will not win in 2027. He’s lost credibility with key demographics and has not shown any improvement in national reach.”
He further claimed that Obi’s political relevance has declined, even in his home state.
On economic issues, Omokri defended President Bola Tinubu, saying the economic crisis did not begin with his administration.
“Blaming Tinubu for Nigeria’s current hardship is dishonest. He inherited a mess, and now he’s trying to fix it.”
