Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara State has said he will not leave the APC despite the setback the party faced over the outcome of the recent Supreme Court ruling.
Gov. Yari who spoke to newsmen in his home town of Talata Mafara, said since he was one of the founding fathers of the APC, he had no intention of dumping the party as demanded by some of his supporters.
“Former Governors of Lagos, Babatunde Fashola; Osun, Rauf Aregbesola; the Governor of Imo, Rochas Okorocha; the current Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, and I toiled hard to build this party. Therefore, I will not abandon the house I helped to build. The struggle has just started,” he said.
